Building on the success of the sold-out performances last year, the nonprofit will once again offer these intimate gatherings that will feature live music with table seats.

“Young men in love would sneak under their lover’s window at night to sing or recite poetry,” said Ken Hall, executive director of PGSO. “Sometimes they wore masks to hide their identity from passers-by or protective fathers. Every now and then, they would even urge their target audience to sneak out of the house to join them. Masks are sadly back in fashion at the moment, so we’re hoping our own little serenade will convince people to wear theirs and get out of the house. “
This concert features music by Beethoven, Dvořák, Kodály and Riisager, performed by the musicians of the PGSO under the direction of musical director Michael Hall.
The second performance is called Hallowe’en and will take place on October 30 at 7 p.m. and October 31 at 2 p.m. at the Hart Community Center, and the final performance is the Viennese Classics scheduled for November 27 at 7:30 p.m. and on the 27th.
